Maryan

I'm always very pleased to see the surprise in the face of creative individuals who ask me what kind of equipment i use. A nikon D90 with a not so expensive 35mm lens (which is converted to 50mm because this camera is not full frame). So how much of a technocrat and how much of an artist is a person, when the obsession with technology takes the creative spirit out of the equation?

My camera does exactly what i want it to do, no more no less. But then again, the limitations of the medium are, to some extent, what dictate my current needs.
And so, the shooting goes on...

* "There is no map for where i am going" but i am not lost.

I don't need any map. No one ever does. Direction, yes, but no map. All it takes is the will to begin and the will to persevere and learn how to deal with the struggle. Because that's all there is to it in the end, the struggle, the experiences lived while treading the path, and not the end itself.
