My first photo edited with Gimp. Equally useful as Photoshop but open source and completely free. Wow.
Five days in Berlin, and still everything feels like a dream. Must be the sudden realization that for the first time in 5 years, i am and FEEL completely and totally FREE.
No arrest warrant is out there for me.
No one is going to put me in a cell and then realize he's made a mistake because, what i've done is not considered a crime anymore. And in all honesty wasn't ever really a crime.
The police in Greece, and generally the way the system works, are almost always not up to date with current laws, hence this amazing chaos happening right now. It's like a nightmare for some, mostly those who tend to resist authority in general, but to be honest there are those in the anti-authoritarian field who are nothing more than junkies, rebels without a reason, and just plain punks who want to break things.
Worst thing is, they obscure the message people like me want to send out to the world.
True Anarchism is rarely seen nowadays.
I BID FAREWELL for the time being, to the place where i was born and raised
and i can honestly say that i am proud to have been born there, and raised the way i was raised, despite my parent's flaws.. Hell, not everyone is perfect right?
It is strange for people who know me to hear that i have gone to Berlin to learn about gardening, why of all places did i choose Berlin? Because they have good vocational education structure that's why. It's a shame that Greece has none of that....
And why did i choose the field of gardening you say? I've always been into photography and graphic design, and still am in many ways, but the truth is, i owe it to myself as a HUMAN, to be able to do something that is not superficial, that is not confined to the matrix humans have made for themselves, i want to learn how to plant and help plants and vegetables grow. This is the most real thing i can ever hope to achieve.
Well that, and learning how to use my body (eventually understanding myself better) through martial arts disciplines in general.
It's a useful asset to have, when and if western civilization eats itself, which will happen sometime in the near future if we don't change the way the system works. And i'm pretty sure it's not going to change for the best.
Throwing Molotov cocktails to the police and trying to burn the country is not working obviously, but being silently obedient and not going out on the streets is a far worse alternative.
So the next best thing to do is gather information, be efficient at this and try to make people get out the system while there is still time. We are not totally brainwashed so far. There are people out there willing to poke their comfort zone, like me, and try to get in touch with the Real, even though at first it is not going to look nearly as tempting and sweet as the system already provides them.
I think i've said enough.
Adios
